Samantha + Robert | Cape Cod Wedding Weekend

Samantha and Robert met through a mutual friend on a Saturday long run in Boston. Their rhythm was immediately the same, step for step…grounded, steady, and honest. Over months of runs, early coffees, coastal drives, and spontaneous post-race beers, they became a home for one another.

Their wedding weekend in Cape Cod was created to feel like their life: slow, intentional, salt-kissed, and full of meaning.

The Design Direction

A coastal palette of powder blue, dusty seafoam, café au lait wood, and ivory florals became the foundation.

Linens were light and breathable, inspired by the way ocean wind moves through sailcloth.

The florals reflected Cape Cod’s natural poetry: powder blue hydrangeas, ivory blooms, and soft greenery; fresh, not heavy. The sensory note was light and salt-bright, not perfumed.

Friday: The Rehearsal

Guests arrived oceanside for a “Runner’s Table” dinner, each table named after the couple’s favorite race cities. Their signature cocktail: “The Finish Line”, a bright citrus gin spritz.

Saturday: The Wedding Day

The ceremony took place under a sailcloth-style tent with draped ivory ceilings that mimicked billowing sails. Reception tables were adorned with crystal glassware, gold flatware, and airy coastal florals.

There was a premium beer tap station, a personal nod to their tradition of a shared beer after each race. Oyster service was displayed in a wooden rowboat, a visual homage to the Cape.

Sunday: Farewell Brunch

Smoked salmon bagels, espresso with soft latte art, and electrolyte water balanced the morning, a wink to where their love began. The brunch felt like a coastal café morning, elevated and refreshing.

This is legacy. A wedding designed from the truth of who they are. Both True and Timeless.

Celia & Michael | Columbus Museum of Art

Celia & Michael’s wedding blends the timeless glamour of Art Deco with an elevated garden-party aesthetic; a seamless intersection of culture, design, and heartfelt connection.

At the Columbus Museum of Art, fine art meets living art. Guests will witness an indoor ceremony surrounded by curated galleries, followed by an alfresco reception in the museum’s Sculpture Garden, a landscape of architecture and blooming form. Sculptural florals, refined textures, and intentional details transform the space into a sophisticated yet inviting environment that feels as personal as it is poetic.

The Atmosphere

The couple envisions an elevated “homey” feel, mixing luxury finishes with approachable comfort. Guests will dine on real plate ware layered with tactile linens, artful florals, and candlelight. Despite its polish, the evening invites ease: family-style dining, shared laughter, and conversation that lingers.

Food will echo their warmth: wood-fired pizzas, handmade pasta, abundant seasonal salads, and a mobile ice-cream bar for dessert. Every course encourages guests to stay, savor, and belong.

The Guest Experience

Their circle of friends is fashionable, well-traveled, and design-minded; the kind of people who appreciate a curated space and meaningful detail.

Dress code: “museum cocktail” — rich earthy tones, colorful spring palettes, flowy dresses, and lightweight suits.

The night is less about spectacle and more about experience: a gathering where relationships are strengthened and beauty is consciously felt.

The Palette

The Garden Atelier palette draws from spring’s quiet luxury: sage green and soft ivory form the foundation, layered with petal-pink and deep wine-rose burgundy for depth and romance. Accents of vibrant garden green and sunlit orange add painterly life, while champagne metallic threads through as a subtle nod to Art Deco elegance.

The result feels like brushstrokes on a living canvas…. timeless, organic, and luminous.

Design & Décor

Guests will be seated on natural-finish wood chairs that echo the garden’s warmth. A mix of round and rectangular tables creates visual rhythm: some dressed in solid linens, others in soft floral patterns. Lounge seating, outdoor chairs, cushioned sofas, and shaded umbrellas invites conversation throughout the Sculpture Garden.

An “Art Wall” installation displays the couple’s favorite photographs, quotes, and keepsakes, a living narrative of their love, seamlessly blending into the museum’s creative atmosphere.

Intentional Touches

  • Family-style dinner service encourages connection. Passing plates, sharing stories, savoring the night like a thoughtfully curated meal at home.

  • A live painter captures the reception in real time, transforming the celebration itself into a lasting heirloom piece.

  • Their beloved pets, Maisie (the cat) and Hugo (the dog), are honored through hand-drawn silhouettes on cocktail stirrers and featured in the couple’s signature drinks.

  • A late-night “Movie Night Snack Bar” offers gourmet popcorn, chocolates, candy favorites, and warm pretzels, a sweet nod to Celia & Michael’s shared love of cozy film nights.

  • Because this late-spring celebration is largely outdoors, guests receive petite goodie bags with chic mini bug spray.

The Essence

Celia & Michael’s wedding is more than an event, it’s a living gallery.

An evening of art, conversation, and community. A celebration that feels like home, curated through the lens of legacy and love.

The Garden Atelier is True & Timeless at its core, where beauty is experienced, connection is the art form, and love becomes the exhibit that endures.
